Repairs and Regulation
Repairs are where physical parts of the piano have to be replaced and Regulation is where existing parts inside the Piano are adjusted to make the Piano perform better.
Regulation
Regulation of the Piano is necessary if; keys are sticking, notes not playing or ringing after been played, pedal work squeaking or if the Piano generally feels slack, spongy or difficult to play pianissimo.
Most regulation work can be done quite comfortably without moving the Piano.
Repairs
Repairs could include restringing, polishing to the case work, changing of action parts.
Almost all repair work require the Piano to be moved to a dedicated workshop which unfortunately means paying for the Piano to be moved.
Cost varies greatly but a rough quote can be given via email.
